A complete Corrugated Cardboard Production Line includes the following machines: mill roll stand, pre-heater, splicer, single facer, overhead bridge, mulit-preheater, and glue machine, double baker facer, slitter scorer, cut-off stacker and ect.

 

Raw paper roll is fed to the mill roll stand. After heated and moisture ajusted by the pre-heater, raw paper will go to the single facer, corrugated by it, and gluing together with another raw paper to become single faced corrugating paper. Then conveyed through the over head bridge, re-heated by mult-layer preheater, after glued by gluing machine, jointed by the double baker facer. Then, continuous corrugating board comes out.

 

After slitting and scoring by slitter scorer and transverse cutting by cut-off machine, corrugated board with different sizes are produced. At last, these different size corrugating board will be stacked, calculated and then sent out by the stacker.

Working Principle of Corrugated Cardboard Production Line

1. Clamp the paper rolls on the mill stand that comes with shaft or not.

2. Preheat the corrugated medium and linerboard on preheating cylinders and make them contain appropriate moisture.

3. Feed the preheated medium and linerboard into the single facer and implement preheating once again.

4. The top corrugated roll and bottom corrugated roll will press the corrugated medium to form flute. This is joined to a flat linerboard with adhesive to form single face board. Contact us to know more.

5. Through lifting device, the single face corrugated board will be lifted to the overhead bridge conveyor and then be conveyed to the multiple pre-heater. During slow conveying, the single face board can be naturally dried.

6. After being heated in the multiple pre-heater, the board will be conveyed into the gluing machine for another gluing.

7. Then, via drying, bonding and cooling, we can get formed and flat corrugated boards.

8. Further, in the slitter scorer, the corrugated board can be cut into required width. Via cross cutter, finally, the corrugated board with needed specifications can be produced.

Corrugated Cardboard Machine

1. A corrugator is a group of machines designed to form single, double or triple wall panels from three, five or seven sheets of paper in a continuous process.

2. Corrugating and gluing the grooves to a single liner.

3. Gluing the outer lining to make rigid panels.

4. Cutting the board to the desired size.

5. Three sheets of paper (cardboard) are simultaneously unrolled on the corrugator: the inner liner, the outer liner and the intermediate medium (also called corrugated board).

6. A "wave" is given to the medium table. This corrugation is obtained by pressing the sheet under heat with grooved metal rolls. This operation gives the paper a fluted shape in the single-sided machine.

7. Starch is applied to the fluted tip on one side, and the outer and inner liners are glued to the tip of the corrugated medium from the outer and inner sides, respectively.

8. The corrugated board comes out of the corrugator as a flat sheet.
